Welcome to the ILTA ’09 Conference Blog!
The ILTA ’09 Conference will take place at the Gaylord National Resort & Conference Center near Washington, DC on August 23-27, 2009. And here’s the primary site with all your need-to-know info for registration and planning.
With all that great info at your fingertips, we won’t repeat any of it here (that would be dreadfully boring!). Instead, here you’ll find other fun stuff. Every week, we’ll have interviews with our conference committee members that will give you an inside look at the tracks they’re planning and further details of what you can expect to find at conference this year. You’ll also find a weekly “Vendor Spotlight”, where some of our vendors will chat about their past,present, and future conference experiences. In keeping with one of our primary conference themes, we’ll also have a special “Profiles in Leadership” feature, where ILTA’s leadership will provide conference updates and also talk about what leadership means to them.
In addition to our regular weekly features, we’ll have posts about social networking, Open Source, exciting Conference announcements, and anything else cool enough to be on this blog. We’re definitely open to suggestions; please send them to us at 2009CONF@iltanet.org, post them to our Facebook group, or Tweet them to @ilta09 or with an #ilta09 tag.
